Clinic operating hours and access to other services

While we are in COVID-19 Alert Level 4 lockdown, we encourage our patients to contact us by phone on 09 273 9017 to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading through minimising person-to-person contact.

We are now open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday.

Clinic Visits

Patients’ restrictions are in place for the South Seas Healthcare Clinic.

If you need to see a doctor or other medical professional you MUST phone first, as you may not need to attend the clinic in person.

All patients will be assessed at the entry to ensure they meet the exception criteria and will be required to give and update their contact details.

Medical appointments

Appointments are available during the COVID- 19 lockdown, however all must be pre-arranged and agreed on by your GP.

We offer telephone consultations and appointments and these that can be booked online through ManageMyHealth or by phoning our reception to arrange a time.

The services below do not require an in person consultation or face-to-face contact for our enrolled patients and families.

Prescriptions

Even though restrictions regarding isolation have been imposed, you can still go to the pharmacy to pick up your script or you can arrange for someone from your household to collect your medicine for you.

New and repeat prescriptions will be faxed to your nominated pharmacy.

Lab forms

Call Labtests directly, noting some labs have closed during lockdown.

WINZ form

To renew monthly or three monthly Work and Income Work Capacity Form. This can be done online but you must call us to let the doctor know when this is due.

Immunisations

All scheduled immunisations for children from 6 weeks to 11 years are still available but we advise that you call first to speak to a nurse.

Insurance forms

All insurance requests can also be arranged online but require you to call through to confirm and consent for information to released.

We are working closely with our health partners to ensure we are responding effectively as a system to provide appropriate and timely care to those who need it.
