Embracing our staff who are mothers
13 May 2019
SouthSeas Healthcare ensures that staff who are mothers are provided a special treat for Mother’s Day and celebrate them being wonderful women so they feel special and valued in the workplace.
Embracing their motherly role and honouring their special day, SouthSeas provided refreshments for each team in support of mothers in our staff.
SouthSeas Healthcare Practice Manager Tule Tuinauvai says SouthSeas have a duty of care for their staff.
“SouthSeas is a great workplace, always willing to support staff and a day like Mother’s Day offers an opportunity to demonstrate how much they really do value their staff.”
“As a mother I am very grateful with the range of support SouthSeas provides for their staff and the level of care around us. Having a good employer and support network around you means a lot,” says Tule.
“I started working for SouthSeas in 2011 as a medical receptionist, later I got promoted to office manager and I am currently the practice manager.”
“I oversee the doctors and administration rosters and make sure the services are being delivered to our clients in addition to keeping track of our progress making sure that we are meeting our targets.”
“I love being part of the SouthSeas team and we have a very friendly working environment. SouthSeas supports and strengthens our Pacific cultural ways in how we serve our community and patients.”
“As a working mother, I love what I do. I always try keep up with my motherly duties but I am blessed to be part of supportive working environment alongside other Pacific staff in serving and helping our community in South Auckland,” says Tule.
