MyStory part of Aotearoa’s youth development conference
13 August 2018
SouthSeas Healthcare MyStory programme features in the INVOLVE 2018 ‘Looking Back to Move Forward’ conference being held over three days this week at the Michael Fowler Centre on Wellington's waterfront.
INVOLVE 2018 brings together hundreds of practitioners in all areas of youth development from different regions to share their expertise in working with youth and young people.
The programme features over 100 presenters, all with a focus on how to best support and work with young people.
SouthSeas MyStory will present its work as part of a series of workshops on Tuesday 14 August 2018.
There will also be stalls around the venue offering a chance to engage with organisations and projects doing innovative work in the youth development space.
This will be the first time INVOLVE has been held in nearly ten years, and many will be attending to learn, and be part of a platform to work with young people.
INVOLVE has been the national youth development conference in Aotearoa since 2002. It provides a space where the youth sector can come together to connect, share, learn, grow and celebrate our diversity and strengths. This is enabled through a programme rich in contributions from across the sector.
