Tapuaki is a new pregnancy education programme for Pacific women. Talanoa-style sessions are available at Otara, Mangere and Manurewa, with helpful information available for expectant mums and dads, and for members of the whole family.

When a Tongan woman becomes pregnant, she and her family are considered blessed - Tapuaki.

Tapuaki is therefore the name chosen for the new pregnancy education talanoa for Pacific women that has been launched by South Seas Healthcare. The talanoa-style sessions are available at Otara, Mangere and Manurewa. 

Helpful information is available for expectant mums, for expectant dads, and for members of the whole family. If you're a first-time Pasifika mother, and under 25, a Tapuaki course is ideal for you. 

Pasifika midwives and health professionals have gathered together the best Pasifika health practises and guides to give the best support for expectant mums and their families.

Tapuaki courses are available in Pacific languages as well as English, and if you or your family require additional support, the talanoa can be held at your home.
