Community Health Worker / Pregnancy & Parenting Education Service (PPES) Coordinator
Narita Vaivai’s role at Southseas Healthcare is through the Pregnancy & Parenting Education Service (PPES). Narita works to provide a service which aims to support pregnant women and their families throughout their pregnancy journeys. PPES prepares women for life with a newborn and is an opportunity to learn about pregnancy physiology, foetal growth & development, healthy eating and exercise, preparations for baby, sign and stages of labour and much more. Narita believes that providing such a service helps families understand health, which begins antenatally within family and home environments. Her drive is to help our families in local communities create their ideal family and home environments for a happy and healthy lifestyle. Narita has a Bachelor of Health Science degree majoring in Health Promotion.
