Kahu Taurima ‘FOAFOAGA O LE OLA FOU’
Our South Seas Kahu Taurima ‘FOAFOAGA O LE OLA FOU’, will support Pacific women throughout their journey from the beginning of pregnancy to their child’s first 2000 days. After the first contact with the General Practitioner (GP) and the Midwifery consultant, the mother will be assigned a Kaiawhina who will complete an assessment to identify the needs of the Whanau/ aiga / kainga, and help them to navigate the health and social system to ensure they receive the support they need.
