About Our Food Education Programme

South Seas Healthcare is committed to providing integrated health and wellbeing outcomes for the communities we serve. We have partnered with Ganesh Raj – cook, food educator, and host of TVNZ Eat Well for Less.

Ganesh is renowned for being able to create healthy, nutritious meals on a budget, and with 55% of Kiwis reporting financial hardship, there is no better time to deliver a food education programme for the communities we serve through South Seas Healthcare.

This programme has long-lasting benefits, not just for those who participate directly through the programme, but also for those who are able to access this food education indirectly (either via the participants or our website and other channels).

Eating well is a collective commitment rather than an individual endeavour.

Recognising that family is at the core of dietary choices, the Family Cooking Foundations and Weeknight Kitchen Hacks courses are meticulously and thoughtfully crafted to foster inclusion, support, and unity in the household's food journey.

These courses encapsulate a modern-day culinary hunt, empowering families to eat nutritious food on a budget by mastering the art of shopping smartly. They aim to enable you with the know-how to choose wisely and affordably, ensuring that nutrition is accessible to everyone.
