Social Worker
Asenati graduated with a Bachelor of Bicultural Social Work at Te Wananga o Aotearoa in 2022. She also received a Certificate of Bicultural Social Services Level 4 in 2017. She previously worked at Manukau Urban Maori Authority (MUMA) organisation in 2021 and is interested in working within the Maori and Pacific people environment. Asenati also achieved a certificate of Health Support Level 4 from Manukau Institute of Technology in 2006. She has worked in Auckland City hospital for over 15 years as a Health Care Assistant, specifically in Older People’s Health (OPH) and in the Rehabilitation Department. Asenati was nominated by her peers for the Rose Foster Assistant award in 2018 at Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) in recognition of being an exemplary Health Care Assistant who goes above and beyond to demonstrate the organisation values. Asenati achieved a Certificate of computing level 2 in 2012 at Te Wananga o Aotearoa. She is of Samoan descent and has four children.
