Corrie Ioelu is the Clinic Practice Manager. Before this she was the Non-clinical Lead for the Vaccination Team and joined the team at South Seas Healthcare as a Medical Receptionist in early 2018. She has worked in customer services related roles for the last couple of years, even enjoying a brief spell as an early Childhood reliever.  A highlight for Corrie is being able to work and give back to an organisation that registered her and her family when she was just a baby. She is passionate about her Pacific community and looks forward to delivering the highest level of customer service every day, because she believes that the initial face-to-face contact is a huge part of a patient’s wellbeing.

Halamehi ‘Akau’ola joined the Medical Receptionists at the South Seas Clinic in December 2020. She has a background in Customer Services as well as having completed her Bachelor of Theology at Laidlaw College in 2018, Halamehi wishes to continue seeking ways to help others as well as learning and growing along the way. Mehi speaks both English and Tongan.

Uea Teiaua is of Kiribati descent proudly working as a medical receptionist for Southseas Healthcare. She has been working for Southseas for over a year now, first working out at the COVID-19 testing station during the second stage of the surge last year August 2021 and has now redeployed into working inside the clinic as a receptionist. Uea described her experience at the testing station during the surge a very challenging one but was quick to adapt to the work environment. Upon taking up a new role as a receptionist in the clinic, Uea was ready to learn on the go and throughout this role it has made Uea become more resilient and show a willingness of determination to help our Maori/Pasifika people in the clinic but also outside the clinic. She is also the eldest of five siblings.

Victoria Cocker joined the Medical Receptionists at the South Seas Clinic in October 2022, she was previously working as a Vaccination Administrator since August 2021. She has a background in Customer Service. Victoria has a passion for serving others and wishes to grow learning more along the way. Victoria speaks both English and Tongan.
