Daphne Leakehe is a registered nurse and team lead for the Manakidz programme at South Seas Healthcare Trust. She oversees a team of 5 healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive healthcare for children in the Otara area. She is a graduate from Manukau Institute of Technology, completing a Bachelor of Nursing Pacific in 2020 and joined South Seas Healthcare in 2021, as a new graduate nurse.

‘Alisi Langi Misa is a Whanau Support Worker for Mana Kidz at South Seas Healthcare. ‘Alisi is based in the clinics at schools in Otara, screening for sore throats and skin infections. She loves working with children and she works hard to lower the number of Pasifika children getting sick from rheumatic fever. ‘Alisi has completed a Diploma in Health Promotion and a Certificate in Community Health from Manukau Institute of Technology. She loves nature and adores being with her grandchildren.

Qualifications: BSN-RN, BSE- LPT, AU-RN, NZ-RN, PGCertHSc, PGCert in Critical Care Nursing, Philippine Heart Centre.
Emmanuel is a Registered Nurse with 32 years of experience and is passionate about health education and promotion. He had recently worked as a Nurse Vaccinator for South Seas Healthcare Trust during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and is now working as a Primary Care Nurse with Manakidz for South Seas Healthcare Trust. He had previously worked in the Counties Manukau District Health Board (Middlemore Hospital) in the Coronary Care Unit for 17 years. He has previous experience in the Philippines as a Nursing Lecturer at Lyceum Northwestern University in Dagupan City. He was also a Midwifery Lecturer and Nursing Lecturer at the Perpetual Help College of Pangasinan in Malasiqui. He was also an Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit Staff Nurse at Lyceum Northwestern General Hospital. Emmanuel is happily married to an overseas nurse, and has three children who dedicate themselves in psychological, nursing and architectural areas.

Matina Nooroa is a registered nurse in the Manakidz programme at South Seas Healthcare. She graduated from Manukau Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Nursing Pacific in 2020. She has experience working in an inpatient setting at Middlemore hospital and joined South Seas in 2022.
