Luisa was born and raised in Tonga, studied and started my career in Tonga as a Tongan Registered Nurse from 1989 to 2002 in General Obstetric. New Zealand Registered Nurse in General and Obstetric 1998-current. Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Health Care Speciality Nursing 2010-current.
She has a knowledge and experiences in Nursing for 33 years now .
She had experiences working with Families and whanau in the communities as a Well Child Nurse started with Plunket for 13 years.
She is the Well Child Team Leader for South seas Health service. She loves her job knowing that she is able to work with families and whanau in order to achieve their goals in physically, mentally , socially and spiritually and especially for children to have a good growth and development, healthy and happy and safe.
She enjoys challenges and has a good attitude to setting goals and striving for success. With an enthusiasm and willingness to learn, up skill and coupled with the ability to work as part of the team, She is competent and respects those whom she encounters with.
